Great Motorcycle Tours
The idea behind my book Great Motorcycle Journeys of the World is that you can have a slice of biking adventure without giving up your job and storing all your worldly possessions. Nothing beats the feeling of packing up your motorcycle to ride around the world, but if family and work commitments don’t allow for this there are some great motorcycle tours you can join. Ranging from a ten day leisurely road tour of Turkey to a three week off road motorcycle adventure in Mongolia, there are motorcycle tours to suit all skills levels and time constraints.
For 2010 I have teamed up with selected motorcycle tour operators from around the world. We’ve got together to pool their local knowledge and resources with my experience of riding overseas and designing tours for UK adventure travel companies. Our aim is to create adventure motorcycle tours designed for UK riders.
TURKEY, THE MIDDLE EAST, CENTRAL ASIA AND EASTERN EUROPE: Based in Istanbul, Kazoom Moto Adventures is perfectly placed to operate motorcycle tours in many of my favourite countries. In 2010 we are operating two tours in Turkey. We will be running great motorcycle tours in the Middle East, Central Asia and Eastern Europe. Ride BMW motorcycles in Turkey, Syria, Jordan and Iran. UK summer is the perfect time to tour the little visited countries of Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Russia and Georgia on a unique ride that circumvents the Black Sea. MONGOLIA: Kevin Murray operates off road motorcycle adventure tours in Mongolia. Tours run from 3 days to 3 weeks and can be tailored to suit your skills and experience. His motorcycle fleet consists of the latest WR250's, WR450's, XR400's, KLX250's and for none riders a 1600cc Buggy! If you are a group of friends or a motorcycle club, and have enough riders to run your own motorcycle tour, I can develop a tour based around your requirements and preferred dates.
