Great Motorcycle Tours

The idea behind my book Great Motorcycle Journeys of the World is that you can have a slice of biking adventure without giving up your job and storing all your worldly possessions. Nothing beats the feeling of packing up your motorcycle to ride around the world for a year or two, but if family and work commitments don’t allow for this there are some incredible motorcycle routes you can experience even in the space of the average two week holiday. Here at Great Motorcycle Tours we will look after the logistics so you can enjoy the riding.

For 2011 we highly recommend motorcycle tours in Canada, Turkey, Mongolia and around the Black Sea coast. We have put together tours designed to suit all skill levels, motorcycle choices and time constraints. Ride your own bike or fly in and hire a motorcycle on arrival.

CANADA self guided motorcycle tours of the Canadian Great Lakes. A new tour giving you the chance to explore the Great Lakes region. Options to stay in a wilderness cabin, kayak on Lake Superior or track bears!

TURKEY guided and self guided motorcycle tours of Turkey. A beautiful country, fantastic hospitality and delicious food, yet only a short flight from Europe. The latest BMW bikes ensure a smooth ride.

BLACK SEA COAST ride in the little visited countries of Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia and Georgia on a unique motorcycle ride that circumvents the Black Sea. This is a very special tour taking you to a region that has been inaccessible until recent years. Guided tours only but private groups welcome.

MONGOLIA if you prefer motorcycling off road take a look at the motorcycle adventure tours in Mongolia. These routes are really ‘out there’. All equipment and provisions are carried on the support truck, guaranteeing riders serious off road adrenaline! Tours run from three days to three weeks and can be tailored to suit your experience.
